Literally two weeks before I was told that I couldn’t drink milk I bought malted milk powder. Anthony loves malted milk shakes so I thought it would be perfect to make those. Plus, I’d been seeing recipes for cookies with malted milk powder in them and that just sounded AMAZING! And now I can’t eat any of it! UGH! Such a bummer. I’ve been really struggling thinking of desserts and breakfasts that I can eat without milk products. If you have any suggestions let me know.
I honestly debated posting this recipe. It’s just insanely easy. Plus, I’m not supposed to be having milk so looking at the pictures of this milkshake too long will drive me crazy. And the pictures aren’t super fancy. Whenever I see pictures of drinks on other food blogs they always have cute cups and straws, but all we have is old salsa jars! Hey, at least we recycle! These were so dang good though, I just had to share.
