Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Now that I am back at work full time (insert sad music here) I am loving slow cooker meals. It makes life SO much easier to have dinner ready when you get home and you don’t have to worry about cooking on top of all the other crap you have to do.

I miss staying home already! I hate leaving my pup all day. We found a dog walker and she’s really great. She leaves him little toys and treats. It’s wonderful! But he’s a nut by the time I get home. He is used to having me home all day and it’s just an adjustment.

I’m sure having to smell this cooking all day drove him crazy, but I let him have a little because I am trying to stay in his good graces. If anyone has any tips on helping dogs not be lonely during the day let me know!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

  1. Rub the pork evenly with the BBQ Rub until it is fully coated.
  2. Add the water and pork to the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, until you can pull the pork apart with two forks.
  3. Pull the pork apart and add the BBQ sauce, stirring until the sauce is fully mixed in with the pork.
