Fresh Tomato Salsa

It’s almost time for Thanksgiving! I love the holiday season. I literally am counting the days until I can decorate my tree. I understand that some people put up their trees before Thanksgiving, but I always wait until right after. We got a few new ornaments this year that I’m really excited about. We got an ornament for our wedding anniversary with our wedding date on it and we also got a little chihuahua ornament with Orbit’s name on it! It’s so stinking cute!

Since it is the holiday season, I am ALL about easy meals this time of year. I don’t have time to make extravagant food. I have decorating and Christmas shopping to do!

If you are a person who has time to make extravagant meals this time of year, please let me in on your secrets. Otherwise, make this super easy fresh salsa as a pick me up. It would be the perfect appetizer for a Christmas meal also! It’s red and green!

Fresh Tomato Salsa

Yields – 6 servings

Prep time – 15 minutes

  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1/4 cup of cilantro
  • 1/2 an onion
  • 2 TBSP of white vinegar
  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp of salt

  1. Chop all your veggies to your liking. I like my salsa a bit chunky.
  2. Add all your ingredients to a bowl and stir them together.
  3. Literally, that’s it.
